Ready to take part in the rhythms of village life?

For a true-life adventure, imagine being awakened at 5:00 am and led to Arthur's Bakery where a sleepy-eyed team of bakers are setting up. You'll step behind the scenes, get your own piece of dough, and receive expert instruction in how to transform it into cookies, muffins, bread, or tarts. Jot down your favorite recipes while the smell of baking bread fills the shop. Pour a fresh cup of coffee and take a smugly-satisfied bite of your own fresh-made handiwork. Imagine the story you'll have to tell back home.

Price: $100 includes round-trip transportation by golf cart, rooster sonata, instruction from a master baker, photo of yourself covered in flour, and all the baked goods you can eat. Be prepared for random inspections by our quality control specialist, grandaughter Ariel pictured at right.
