Located in the heart of the olde Dunmore Towne, on Dunmore Street in the village on Harbour Island is this adorable cottage that has been recently renovated. The wood floors are still glistening, the central air makes it very inviting in the hot summer months, the appliances are new, and cable TV. The house has 1 bedroom and 1 bath, beautiful cypress tray ceiling, an original kitchen with glass doors and a wood bar/pass way counter with 2 bar stools for anyone wishing to visit with the cook! The living/dining room is very spacious with a TV area with rocking chairs, and the couch has a very comfortable pullout queen size bed. The front covered porch is the perfect place from which to bird watch and listen to all the birds singing in the morning, after the roosters have done their best to waken the island.

From the kitchen and living/dining room one can see the Harbour and the yachts coming and going. Particularly scenic is the arrival and departure of the Fast Ferry.

There is also an outside bedroom and bath with a cypress tray ceiling, and wall air conditioner. This bedroom has a private patio shaded by a wild orchid tree.

"Tucked In" is a quiet cottage, old fashioned and very comfortable. Our last visitors described it as a place where you could "lose" yourself - or "find" yourself if that is your choice! It is within a 2-minute walk of the Harbour and Bay Street, and a 7-minute walk to the famous pink sand beach. Peace and tranquility abound at Tucked In.
